    Have you ever craved a burger late at night after having an omakasa dinner? Have you had ever had late night eats served on a paper plate? Look no further, Sam's Pizza and Burgers is your place. Thanks to Missta S. who introduced me to this cool hole in a wall. It's obviously not his first rodeo! No pressure at all you don't need to finish the burger, but it's juicy.

    Part 3 of the self directed burger tour of SF and the greater Bay Area. This review will be broken up into two parts: before and after we watch Anthony Bourdain's review. Part I: Definitely appreciate the vibe of the place and the people who work there. I will say though, if you have vertigo I would not recommend dining here, and definitely not the bathroom. The whole restaurant is kinda sunken on one side (especially the bathroom!!!!) Maybe our mistake was eating here almost sober, or not after playing with our friends in the pool for 1 hour and being yelled at by my friend's mom "burgers are ready!" "These are the same burgers I used to make with my dad for my baseball team's potlucks," says my boyfriend a few bites it. Kind of nostalgic, but not really what we were expecting given all the Bourdain hype. Part II: okay so we really tried to find any kind of video of Anthony Bourdain at Sam's but fell short (my boyfriend is really good at YouTube and couldn't find anything on the 20 minute bus ride back). "The history... the fast and casual dining experience... the people... this is why you eat at a place like this," says the late and great Anthony Bourdain, smacking his lips between bites in my imagination. But I don't know the history, or the people. I just know that this burger and fries were fine. Bonus note: don't try to run for your bus right after eating this meal. Chances are you'll get a side cramp and your bus has already left you.
